Maceió, January 26, 2019 - Braskem reiterates that no study conducted until this time has shown any link between the salt mining activities and the cracks on the buildings of the district of Pinheiro.   c4c5g

The company has been ing and working together with the Federal and State Public Prosecutor's Offices, the National Mining Agency, the Geological Survey of Brazil, the Federal, State and Municipal Civil Defense, in order to uncover the causes of the events that have been affecting the district of Pinheiro. We must also stress that there are no active mining operations in the district of Pinheiro.

In compliance with a recommendation from the National Mining Agency (ANM), a sonar study is currently being carried out in the deactivated wells.
