Brazilian Paralympic Committee

In an effort to reinforce its mission of improving people's lives by creating sustainable solutions in chemistry and plastics, Braskem is an official sponsor of the Brazilian Paralympic Athletics Team and the Brazilian Paralympic Committee.

Since 2015, we have been working with Paralympic athletes, because we know that our efforts in innovating the plastic used in prostheses make them lighter and more comfortable, and this helps athletes' performance.

We have partnered up with the most popular park in São Paulo to help make it the most sustainable in Latin America. Through the Recycling Center and campaigns to raise awareness, we promote the proper disposal of waste to optimize recycling.

At one of the biggest music festivals in the country, Braskem demonstrated that transforming plastic is rock 'n roll. We encouraged fans to properly dispose of plastic, and they were given opportunities to win prizes for their recycling efforts.

Braskem was present at the debut of The Town, a musical and cultural festival run by the creators of Rock in Rio, to show that sustainability is a hit. We encouraged conscious consumption, proper disposal and the recycling of plastic.

Lollapalooza 2022 and 2023 3k4y4v

Braskem sponsored one of the biggest music festivals in Latin America, Lolla BR, promoting the proper disposal and recycling of plastic during the events in 2022 and 2023. The crowds attending the festival properly disposed of over 129,000 pieces of plastic waste, while also wining prizes and helping to recycle.
